Background:
These terms and conditions are the standard terms for the sale of goods by Little Letter Studio (“LLS”).
Each reference in these Terms and Conditions to “writing” and any similar expression includes electronic communications whether sent by e-mail, text message, fax or other means.
The Contract
These terms and conditions govern the sale of goods by LLS and will form the basis of the contract between LLS and you. Before submitting your order, please ensure that you have read these terms and conditions carefully. If you are unsure about any part of these terms and conditions, please contact LLS for clarification.
Nothing provided by LLS including, but not limited to, sales and marketing literature, price lists and other documents constitutes a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer that LLS may, at our discretion, accept.
A legally binding contract between LLS and you will be created upon our acceptance of your order, indicated by our order confirmation. Order confirmations will be provided in writing.
Description and Specification of Goods
We have made every reasonable effort to ensure that the goods conform to illustrations, photographs and descriptions provided in our website. We cannot, however, guarantee that all illustrations and/or photographs will be precisely accurate due to discrepancies that may arise during the printing process and/or differences in the colour reproduction of electronic displays.
Bespoke goods are available from LLS. If you order bespoke goods from LLS, we will produce those goods to your specifications and requirements.
When placing an order for bespoke goods, please ensure that all information that you provide to LLS is correct, accurate and complete. We cannot accept the return of any bespoke goods if the return is due to incorrect information provided by you.
Orders
All orders for goods will be subject to these terms and conditions.
Orders for non-bespoke goods
You may change or cancel your order at any time before we despatch the goods by contacting LLS. If your order is changed LLS will inform you of any change to the price in writing by email. If you have already paid for the goods, the payment will be refunded to you within 30 days. Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment. If you request that your order is cancelled, you must confirm this cancellation in writing by email to [email protected].
Orders for commissioned, personalised and bespoke goods
Personalised prints, in brief:
Due to the individual nature of personalised prints, we allow up to 2 hours from the time of your order for you to amend or cancel your order. After this time, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchange on any personalised prints purchased. Requests to change or cancel orders need to be made in writing by email to [email protected]. If your order is changed LLS will inform you of any change to the price in writing by email. LLS may cancel your order at any time if the goods are no longer in stock and LLS is unable to re-stock (if, for example, the goods are discontinued.) In the unlikely event that your order is out of stock, we'll offer an exchange for another product or a full refund. Refunds or exchanges will be made to you within 30 days. Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment. If LLS cancels your order and you have already paid for the goods, the payment will be refunded to you within 30 days. If LLS cancels your order, the cancellation will be confirmed by LLS in writing.
Price and Payment
Our prices quoted to you are in Pounds Sterling and exclude the cost of delivery. Delivery costs will be added on to the final sum due. Please see our FAQs page for details about delivery charges. The customer is responsible for all international duties and taxes relating to their order.
All payments for goods must be made in advance before LLS can despatch the goods to you.
We accept the following methods of payment on this website:

Credit and/or debit cards will be charged immediately after submitting your order on www.littleletterstudio.com.
Payments to www.littleletterstudio.com are made through Paypal or Stripe, which are secure, third party websites and as such, we keep no record of any of your credit card details.
Delivery
Every effort is made to ensure that your goods will arrive in perfect condition. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery if an item is damaged in transit. Photographs of any damaged goods may be required, as this will help with any insurance claims with delivery companies. We are not responsible for return postage or for packages that do not reach us. Please ask for proof of postage if returning any items.
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the delivery address you give when placing an order. If any of the details you have given us in your delivery address are incorrect, we are not liable for any items not received. If you require us to send your item to a different address after it has been returned then there may be a charge for posting it out again.
You may specify a delivery address that is different from your billing address, if, for example, you would like us to deliver the products directly to the recipient. In this instance, we are happy to write a message to the recipient, if you would like. Please include your message in the comments box at the checkout.
We are happy to deliver to most places in the world and can provide delivery quotes upon request.
If goods are being ordered from outside the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your goods reach their destination. We are not responsible for these charges and we undertake to make no calculations or estimates in this regard. If you are buying internationally, you are advised to contact your local Customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures. As a purchaser of the goods, you will also be the importer of record and as such, should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the goods are being imported. Please be aware that goods may be inspected on arrival at port for Customs’ purposes and that we cannot guarantee that the packaging of your goods will be free of signs of tampering. Please also be aware that UK consumer protection laws may not apply.
A4 prints are dispatched using a signed for delivery service by Royal Mail. If you have not received your items, please check with your local sorting office first to see if they are holding items for you.
Returning Incorrect Goods
If you receive goods that are incorrect, caused by a mistake made by LLS in production, alteration, delivery or by our incorrect description or information you have the right to return them in exchange for a refund. This does not apply to goods that you are merely not satisfied with or to goods that are faulty.
Bespoke goods which are incorrect as a result of incorrect information that you have supplied to LLS cannot be returned.
If you wish to return goods to LLS you must do so within a reasonable time of taking delivery.
All goods must be returned to LLS in their original condition.
Refunds or replacements will be issued within 7 days of our receipt of the goods.
Returning Goods If You Change Your Mind
If you are not satisfied with any (non-bespoke) goods purchased from LLS you have the right to return them in exchange for a refund.
This does not apply to bespoke goods. Goods which LLS have produced or altered to order for you cannot be returned if you change your mind.
If you wish to return goods to LLS you must do so within 14 days of taking delivery, telling LLS why you wish to return the goods.
All goods must be returned to LLS in their original condition, unopened, unused and in their original packaging, and without damage.
We strongly recommend using a trackable, ‘signed for’, courier service to return your order. You are responsible for the cost of return postage.
Your refund will be made via your original method of payment. Refunds will be issued to you within 5-10 days of our receipt of the goods.
All items being returned remain your responsibility until they reach us. We strongly recommend that you send your return with appropriate insurance and on a ‘signed for’ service. We cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in transit.
Returning Damaged or Faulty Goods
If you receive goods that are damaged or faulty you have the right to return them in exchange for a refund, replacement or repair. This does not apply to goods that are incorrect or goods that you wish to return because you have changed your mind.
If you wish to return goods to LLS please do so as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the damage or fault. Please contact LLS to inform us of the fault and to arrange the return and your refund, replacement or repair.
This only applies to goods that are damaged or faulty when you receive them.
Refunds or replacements will be issued to you within 7 days of our receipt.
